Livingston Manor Renaissance has been part of the beautification movement since its inception in 2001. It is a group of volunteers which includes students, retirees, business people, second home owners, and long-time residents. The group's beautification projects have ranged from new sidewalks and street lamps to hanging baskets planter boxes, history panels, benches, and banners.
The group is funded by individual donations, annual fundraising events like Flower Day, and grants from Sullivan 180. You can learn more about the group here.
Flower Day is a Spring Fling event to celebrate the work of the Renaissance Group and raise funds for their annual work. Local businesses allocate a percentage of the day's sales to Livingston Manor Renaissance.
